About The Center for Student Success

Our services include individual writing consultations, peer tutoring, small group tutoring sessions, study skills sessions, academic success strategies, and supplemental instruction. We work closely with The Office of Student Disabilities Services and The Academic Advising Office. For a list of our tutoring policies - please see our page at

What do I need to bring?

For tutoring sessions regarding a particular subject, bring your questions, class, notes, your assignment or study guide and your textbook. For the Writing Center bring your assignment guidelines. You can come at ANY point in the process ... beginning (no draft) to end (polished draft). Please be mindful that the tutors will give you feedback during your session where they think your writing can be improved, but they will not proofread or rewrite your paper.

How long are the sessions?

All sessions are 45 minutes long and begin at the top of the hour.
How do I cancel an appointment?

You may cancel a session clicking the "Cancel This Appointment" button at the bottom of your appointment.
